During the middle of the month, Ocee students did more than just jump rope. Instead they were jump roping for a cause, which was Jump Rope for Heart. Students raised money by asking for donations from their parents, aunts, uncles, and neighbors. All of the money collected will be donated to The American Heart Association, which raises money to help those who have heart problems.
The event lasted three days and raised over $1300! Way to go Otters!
Stay tuned to see who won the Atlanta Hawks raffle and the Atlanta Braves raffle.
