Over the next two weeks, students in kindergarten through fifth grade are participating in our cup stacking unit. Cup stacking is a great tool for developing ambidexterity, bilateral proficiency, and hand-eye coordination. In other words, students are learning to use both sides of their brain! Throughout this unit, students are learning "the 3 stack," "the 6 stack," and "the 10 stack." All of these put together lead to "the cycle." Did you know that the current world record for completing "the cycle" is 5.93 seconds? It was set by and 11 year old student from the United States. Wow, that's fast!
